2005 marks the 200th anniversary of the death of a truly great British Hero, Admiral Lord Nelson, who died as a result of his wounds sustained at the culmination of his historic victory off Cape Trafalgar on October 21st 1805.

Throughout the year Time For Greenwich will be involved in a series of very special occasions around the country. These events not only remember Nelson but also celebrate Great Britain as a major seafaring power.

Time For Greenwich is working closely with The Greenwich Foundation for The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich to arrange Trafalgar Night Dinners in the Painted Hall where Nelson lay in state before his grand state funeral.

We can offer exclusive and unique packages, including some very special sponsorship opportunities at a selection of appropriate venues to celebrate Sea Britain 2005.

Sunday Family Fun Day

The Time For Greenwich team was in action on Sunday to give a locally based large international company a fantastic Family Fun Day.

Throughout the afternoon several hundred guests enjoyed fairground attractions including the Coconut Shy, Hoopla and Tea Cup rides. Children from 6 to 60 enjoyed the inflatable activities supervised by fully trained and friendly staff.

Time for Greenwich also secured the services of expert face painters and children's entertainer Gingernut the Clown. The afternoon's entertainment culminated in exciting Sports Day Races for young and old before an energetic family disco in the evening.

The day was a great success and everybody went home tired and happy.

An event like this can be very effective for improving staff morale and team spirit, as well as offering a really good day's fun. Employees who normally meet in a formal work environment have the chance to mingle socially and introduce their families to each other. If you think your staff might enjoy a similar event don't hesitate to contact us to discuss the possibilities.
