Picture ©Time For Greenwich Every event we organise is carefully planned to precisely achieve the specific objectives you have set. We don't try and shoehorn you into 'standard', one-size-fits-all itineraries. The itineraries below were all prepared for specific clients, and illustrate the scope and scale of the projects we handle.

Picture ©Time For Greenwich A Business Networking and Promotional Lunch for 100 Client's requirement: An informal Lunch event to encourage business guests to familiarise themselves with our client's services. Provide an opportunity for our client's representatives to make valuable new contacts. Our recommended solution: To organise a two hour event in a historic riverside tavern once frequented by Charles Dickens. Space provided for the client's display material. A high quality Finger Buffet format was chosen, with no formal seating arrangements or tables, thus maximising the opportunities for effective networking. Cold food presented and served from a buffet table, with hot food offered around the room by waiting staff. PA equipment provided for speeches. ![]() Parading the Baron of Beef at a previous Trafalgar Night Dinner held in the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, in the presence of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Picture ©Time For Greenwich A Fund Raising Event - Trafalgar Night Client's requirement: A formal dinner event with a strong emphasis on tradition, ceremonial, pomp and circumstance! Top quality catering and silver service. Effective fund raising element. Appropriate music and entertainment. Our recommended solution: A traditional Trafalgar Night event held in a suitable historic naval venue. Evening Reception with cocktails. Traditional Sunset Ceremony with uniformed Sea Cadets. Call to Dinner with fanfare by trumpeter. Formal seating arrangements, with top table. Silver service dinner menu comprising a cold starter, a hot fish course, a traditional English Roast Beef main course (the Baron of Beef being paraded by the chefs with a guard of uniformed Sea Cadets before being served), a cold sweet, 'Ships of the Line' with petit fours, coffee, then port and madeira in decanters for toasts. Appropriate wines served with all courses. A military style orchestra to play throughout dinner, also providing music for singing (including soloists and community singing) and the Sunset Ceremony. Guest of honour to be provided. Malcolm Godfrey from Time For Greenwich to act as Master of Ceremonies in addition to organising the event. A highly complex event requiring meticulous planning and organisation. Administration and despatch of the paid-for tickets to be handled by Time For Greenwich. A Family Fun Day for 425 guests Client's requirement: To suggest a park or sports club to hold 425 guests (employees of a large firm, and their families), of which 50% were children. Marquee or pavilion required for Cash Bar. Catering and toilets, with the option of shelter in case of inclement weather. Provide family based activities including fairground sideshows, bouncy castles and Fun Sports manned by staff that are qualified and have been cleared under the guidelines of the Child Protection Act. Our solution: We recommended an excellent venue, well suited to this brief. The event commenced at 11am and continued until late in the evening. Catering arrangements included a Lunchtime Barbecue, an afternoon Ice Cream Van (very popular!) and an evening Finger Buffet. A Cash Bar was available from lunchtime onwards. The activites and scheduled events included fairground style Sideshows (Coconut Shy and Hoopla), children's Roundabout, Bouncy Castle, Fun Relay Races (Egg and Spoon, Space Hoppers, Sack Race, Three-Legged Race), Children's Football Penalty Shoot, Boules, Lawn Darts, Large Dominos, Limbo and an Evening Disco. The organised sports were held at advertised times throughout the afternoon, supervised by trained staff. Our client was also offered other options, including Punch and Judy, Balloon Modelling, Face Painting, Magicians, Clowns and Puppet Theatre. A large event with lots of children has the potential for chaos unless the event is planned and managed with meticulous attention to detail. With plenty of experience in this field Time For Greenwich is your reliable partner! ![]() HMS Belfast saw action during WW2 in the North Atlantic, the Arctic, the Normandy Landings, and played a leading part in the destruction of the battle cruiser Scharnhorst. Guests arrived to a welcome drink with background music from a classical pianist before taking guided tours of the House and the Gardens. Medieval entertainers performed in the gardens, with guests invited to taste wines and traditional English cheeses. A short presentation by the client followed in the Great Hall, where display material had been erected. Tasty and imaginative food was provided in the form of a lavish hot and cold Finger Buffet, from a range of Old English Serving Platters. No formal seating was supplied, in order to maximise the potential for networking. ![]() The Old Royal Naval College, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. A Dinner Dance for 250 guests Client's requirement: A lively Dinner Dance for 250 guests at an unusual venue. Our solution: The client liked our suggestion of the Imperial War Museum as the venue. During the Reception selected VIP guests visited the museum's impressive Blitz Experience. After dinner, guests enjoyed a lively Disco with drinks, a live band and a Fun Casino (no real money) with Black Jack and Roulette. Throughout the event, a photographer recorded the action. The client was offered the option for each guest to be sent a four page 'War Themed Newspaper' using photos taken during the event, as a memento. Guests arrived and departed from the Imperial War Museum on luxury coaches.
